Hi, my name is Frances, founder and creator of the Singing Room Academy. 

With over 25 years of experience as a professional event singer and 10 years of experience working as an event manager, I bring both the performer’s and organiser’s perspective to the industry.

I’ve performed at more than 150 weddings, private events and live functions, while also gaining behind-the-scenes experience working with venues, planners and agencies. This combination has given me a deep understanding of what clients look for, how events are structured, and what makes a singer stand out and get booked. From luxury weddings and corporate events to intimate private performances, I’ve developed the knowledge, systems and industry insight that I now use to help aspiring singers become confident, professional and bookable event performers.

These programs will guide you step by step toward building the right foundations to secure paid singing opportunities, including how to find gigs, present yourself professionally, and promote your services effectively. However, we do not guarantee paid gigs, as results will vary depending on each individual’s effort, consistency, and application of the material.
